FAQS

1. What exactly is DICLARX?

DICLARX is a Decision Intelligence diagnostic a structured system that maps how you make career decisions, not what career you should pick. It measures 7 visibledimensions, 3 hidden engines, and 12 decision patterns using peer-reviewed behavioural science. The output is a personalised report that shows you the operating system running underneath your career moves the one you've never been asked to look at.

2. Is this career advice or support?

Neither. Career advice tells you what to do. Support holds your handwhile you do it. DICLARX does something different it shows you the decision architecture you've been using all along, so you can decide whether it's stillserving you. Think of it as an MRI for your career decision-making. The diagnosis is ours. The prescription is yours.

3. Will this tell me which job, role, or industry to choose?

No. And that's by design. Anyone who tells you what career to pick without understanding how you decide is guessing. DICLARX focuses on improving decision quality the one skill that compounds across every career move you'll ever make.

4. How is this different from personality tests like MBTI or DISC?

Personality tests label you. DICLARX reads you. There are no types, no four-letter codes, no colour wheels. Instead, you get a pattern diagnosis how your specific combination of decision habits, emotional regulation, power dynamics, and energy management plays out in real professional situations. Labels don't change. Patterns can.

5. What does the report actually contain?

Your report has 15 sections across three zones. The Mirror (Sections 1–5) shows how you tend to make career decisions your core pattern, dominant habit, and where your dimensions pull against each other.

The Depth (Sections 6–10) covers strategic capacity, decision quality, power dynamics, energy sustainability, and your professional moat. The Path Forward (Sections 11–15) maps risks to watch, interventions that may shift things, a 30-day reversible experiment, and a 12-month orientation built around your specific pattern.

Every section includes research-backed insights and reflective questions written specifically for your data.

6. How long does the diagnostic take?

15–20 minutes for a focused sitting. No preparation needed. No right or wrong answers. Just honest responses to questions about how you actually navigate professional decisions not how you wish you did.

7. What if I'm feeling stuck, stressed, or overwhelmed right now?

That's when DICLARX tends to be most useful. The system detects elevated pressure signals in your responses and adjusts its framing accordingly delivering full analytical depth without pushing you to act before you're ready. This isn't a disclaimer. It's built into the engine.

8. Is this suitable for someone early in their career?

Yes if you're the kind of person who'd rather understand your decision patterns early than spend 15 years discovering them the hard way. The diagnostic doesn't assume seniority. It reads how you decide, regardless of where you are in the journey.

9. I'm a senior professional. Will this feel too basic?

The opposite, usually. Senior professionals often find DICLARX confronting precisely because it surfaces the patterns they've been too successful to question. When you've built a career on a particular operating system, it takes a specific kind of mirror to show you what it's costing.

10. Is there any science behind this?

The diagnostic draws from
Kahneman's dual-process theory (how fast and slow thinking compete under pressure),
Klein's naturalistic decision-making (how experts actually decide not how textbooks say they should),
Ibarra's Working Identity research (why career transitions start with identity shifts),
Annie Duke's work on decision quality vs. outcomes and
Argyris's double-loop learning (why intelligent people keep repeating patterns they can already see).

This is peer-reviewed behavioural science applied to the one domain nobody thought to measure: how you navigate your own career.

11. Why are there different plans?

The plans differ in depth, not seriousness. Basic gives you the foundational orientation your decision pattern, 7 dimensions, key friction zones, and 3 awareness interventions. Deep extends Basic with full strategic analysis, power dynamics, energy sustainability, a 30-day experiment, and a 12-month orientation. Full includes everything in Deep plus complete pattern conflict analysis, risk escalation signals, and the most granular section-by-section diagnosis available. Every plan delivers a personalised report not a template with your name on it.

12. What's the difference between Deep and Full?

Deep gives you the complete analytical picture plus a structured action path. Full goes further every section unlocked, every dimension mapped in full granularity, risk radar with escalation signals, and a comprehensive 12-month strategic orientation.

13. Will I need to subscribe or pay again?

No. One payment. One report. No subscriptions, no recurring charges, no upsell sequences. If you complete a Basic plan, you can upgrade to Deep within 3 months at 25% off using the upgrade code delivered with your feedback.

14. How do I upgrade from Basic to Deep?

Your Basic report email includes a Member Code (format: DCLX-XXXXXX). When you're ready for the Deep Plan, enter this code on the pricing page. It verifies your Basic diagnostic, prefills your details, and links your prior data so the Deep report builds on what's already been measured not from scratch.

15. How soon do I get my report?

Your scores are shown immediately after completing the diagnostic. Your full report the detailed 15-section PDF is delivered to your email within 2–3 hours. Read it once. Then revisit in two weeks. You'll notice different things.

16. Is my data private?

Yes. Your responses are used only to generate your report and remember your progress. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for advertising. No third party accesses your data for any reason. You can request complete deletion at any time by emailing us from your registered email with the subject line "Delete all my data."

17. Can I retake the diagnostic?

Your report remains valid for 9–18 months depending on your plan. You should consider retaking after a major role change, an industry shift, or when the stated validity period ends. In some cases, a complimentary re-check may be offered after six months.

18. What if I disagree with something in my report?

Good. That's part of the design. The report is a mirror, not a verdict.
Every insight uses directional language "may suggest," "could indicate," "tends to" because decision patterns are not intended to hurt or like a forecast. If something doesn't just feel right, sit with it longer. The observations that create the most resistance often carry the most signal rarely evident to our awareness.

19. Can I translate the report to my language?

Yes. A free report translator is available at careers.diclarx.com/report-translator supporting Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi, and several other languages. Translate as many times as you need.

20. What if I'm expecting clear step-by-step instructions?

DICLARX may not be the right tool. It's designed for people who value clarity over certainty who'd rather understand how they decide than be told what to decide. If you want someone to hand you a career plan, there are coaches for that. If you want to understand why your last three career decisions followed the same invisible pattern, this is where you start.

21. Who should NOT use DICLARX?

DICLARX is not suitable if you are seeking therapy or clinical counselling, looking for quick career matches or job recommendations, wanting day-to-day guidance or mentoring, or fundamentally uncomfortable with ambiguity. This is a clarity tool, not a comfort tool.

22. What's the best way to get value from this?

Answer honestly, without overthinking. Read the report slowly not as a task to finish but as a conversation with yourself. Pay attention to the scenario narratives and reflective questions. Then revisit the report periodically especially before a major career decision. The same report often reads differently six months later, because you've changed.

23. Are there any other perks or benefits for the paid users?

DICLARX is working on decision models in other areas of life like Health, Wealth, Finance, Relations, Parenting, etc. Our paid users will get a priviledged discount on each. We are also working on an app support for weekly Q&A and more. You will be the inhouse members for all deals.

24. Is this applicable for any user, from any field and any country

Yes. Its science and research backed and not region or profession based.
